Opals warming gold for November.

This solid gold circle of twigs with green boulder opal and bumble bee will be at my Christmas open studio, the necklace is a one off, as is the boulder opal, which is why I love them so much...

The 2014 Christmas Open studio will be in December, the opening times are:

Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th from 11am to 5.30pm

Life is unpredictable,
It changes with the seasons,
Even your coldest winter,
Happens for the best of reasons,
And though it feels eternal,
Like all you'll do is freeze,
I promise spring is coming,
And with it, brand new leaves.

Buy British Day

Today is the first Buy British Day!

Buy British Day has been set up by The Best Of Britannia to support brands and businesses who design and manufacture their products in Britain.

The launch was hosted by Wayne Hemmingway who understands the need for consumers, designers and maunfacturers to work together supporting British businesses.

I love the idea that Buy British Day will help champion designers and brands, creating more consumer awareness for all of us passionate about British products and manufacturing.

All my designs are made by hand in my Oxfordshire studio, all ideas have developed from walking, and collecting natural forms from our Great British countryside.

Can you get any more British?

Lets put the kettle on :-))

Wedding Rings

Over the years I have had the privilege of creating couples wedding and engagement rings, its such an honour to be involved with such an important part of the ceremony, and to create something that will be worn every day.
I have recently had my sketch book and gold paint out, playing with designs to make and add to our new Wedding section on line.
I will be using diamonds in many forms, uncut, old style cuts and classic, mixing them with bark and lichen textures, twigs, and leaves.
