Lydia Campbell came to interview me in the studio about my work, travelling from London to the Shires!!

Carey Marvin from ' Let it Fray' came to watch, chat and drink tea, the camera man for the shoot was Michael Gordon.

Fabulous day, really good fun, some very interesting questions that I've never even asked myself!

The Lady Magazine Online

Thank you to The Lady Magazine and Isabelle Kettle for a fabulous article about my work.

Jewellery with a conscience
Lucy Sylvester, a young designer based in Oxfordshire, creates this beautiful and original jewellery that is all centred around nature. She derives inspiration from walks in the countryside and creates her range of fine metalwork using different seedheads and insects.
‘I am interested in finding things that would decay into the ground, turning them into precious wearable objects,’ she says. With climate change affecting our wildlife, my work may become a record for the future of the insect and plant life we have today.’
With ecological awareness at the top of the fashion agenda right now, Lucy’s affordable pieces are perfect for women who care about both style and the planet.

My new work is inspired by gorgeous summer colours, vibrant green peridot, rich dark red garnets, beautiful tourmalines combined with my favourite white and rainbow moonstones.....
Twiggy rings can be worn together for lots of summer colour!
